Turkmenistan Championship in Freestyle and Greco-Roman Wrestling
During the Epoch of the Revival of a new era of powerful state, in the year proclaimed under the motto “Independent neutral Turkmenistan – the homeland of purposeful winged horses” the Turkmenistan Championship in freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling is being held at the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Education and Sports.
The competition is jointly organized by the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of Turkmenistan and the Wrestling Federation of Turkmenistan.
The championship vividly reflects the steady progress of national sports and serves as an important platform for identifying the country’s most talented athletes. Throughout the bouts, participants demonstrate tactical awareness, technical mastery, and outstanding physical preparedness.
Events of this level not only determine the winners but also represent a crucial stage in preparing athletes for international competitions. Such contests play a significant role in gaining competitive experience, refining athletic skills, and strengthening the foundation for future achievements.
